Los Angeles, CAModern Weaving creates thoughtfully designed handbags and jewelry. Utilizing playful twists with clean cut designs, Modern Weaving artfully fuses abstract yet functional shapes with nods to basketry. New technologies including laser and die cutting are used to minimize waste in the production process. Modern Weaving jewelry utilizes a wide range of materials including metal, resin, acrylic and porcelain in a broad range of finishes. Each piece is the end result of an experimental design process including paper mache, decoupage, clay sculpture and wax casting. Established in 2015 by self-taught ceramicist Tiffani Anne Williams, Modern Weaving integrates a broad range of materials and finishes to deliver a sense of California cool.
