New York City New York-based ready-to-wear label Batsheva creates seasonal, inspiration-driven collections for women and girls. Batsheva plays with American styles of feminine dress – exaggerated frills, whimsical florals and coy silhouettes are staples of their identity. Garments which once signified restraint and control (such as high necks and long skirts) have been reworked with a modern inflection. By retooling historical looks, Batsheva explores how to extract the strong and beautiful aspects of those styles while rejecting antiquated notions of womanhood. Since 2016, Batsheva Hay has redefined traditional styles of feminine dress.
