Samuji’s Spring 2017 video features artwork by Mikko Ijäs, a Finnish visual artist and researcher who uses an iPad to create digital drawings. The video highlights the drawing process of Ijäs’s pieces alongside illustrated versions of the Samuji Spring 2017 lookbook.

Designer, Samu-Jussi Koski, was interested in creating the perfect wardrobe for a Moroccan summer holiday. He drew inspiration for Spring from Oskar Schlemmer’s Triadic Ballet, also known as the Bauhaus Ballet. The collection features interesting spring textures and painterly, geometric prints with silhouettes that have structure, yet seem built for movement.
