Miranda Bennett creates sustainable apparel utilizing minimalist design, natural fabrications, plant-based dyes and simple versatility.
Rich, tonal palettes are derived from natural pigments and dyes from plant materials, including extracts from wood, pomegranate rind and natural indigo.
The designer has made a commitment to zero waste, utilizing textile remnants in the creation of new products. Remnants that cannot be used are recycled into utility rags or donated to the local non-profit, Austin Area Quilt Guild.
