A good cocktail in Williamsburg is easy to come by. Here are some of our favorite spots on the South Side.

Donna cocktail bar Brooklyn

DONNA. Beautiful cocktails served in a cozy, beautifully designed room with a vaulted ceiling. The menu uses illustrated pictograms to help you choose your drink. Photo via Donna.

MAISON PREMIERE. Cocktails accompanied by oysters & small plates in a New Orleans-styled setting with an atmospheric garden.

The garden at Aska

ASKA. Nordic cuisine with 2 Michelin stars tucked under the Williamsburg Bridge. They have a cellar bar and outdoor garden where they serve interesting and untraditional cocktails with Aquavit and garnished with fresh flowers from the property. On our last visit we found a rainbow in our drink reflecting from the hand chiseled ice. Photo via Aska

CERVECERIA HAVEMEYER. Sister restaurant to La Superior, Cerveceria Havemeyer is a good choice for Margaritas along side simple and delicious tacos and a hearty Mexican brunch. Next door through a walk-in refrigerator leads to a tiny Mezcal bar La Milagrosa, perfect for a dance date.

OTB. OTB is a humble cocktail bar without over indexing on being overly kitschy or touristy located at the foot of the Williamsburg Bridge. A great choice for a drink before or after a meal at Motorino next door.

Cocktail at Pokito in Williamsburg

POKITO. An art bar with equal parts Asian and Dominican (channeling the owners roots). With interesting drinks served in a intimate space. When you aren't in the mood for a cocktail, they have an ice cold Presidente waiting for you.

LOOSIE ROUGE. Tucked away on S6th Street is the second New Orleans themed bar in South Williamsburg. Loosie Rouge has great atmosphere which skews more cool than nostalgic.

Bar at Baby's Allright

BABY'S ALLRIGHT.live music venue with a great curation of shows, solid bar plus food. The separation of space allows you to have a drink or eat while the live music happens in the next room.
